          The Readsboro Enterprise of last week contained this item: "A quiet home wedding took place Tuesday night when Frank Crosier, the photographer In this town, Wilmington and Jacksonville, was married to Mrs. Mary Gore, widow of the late Weston Gore. The ceremony was performed by Daniel Carpenter, a justice of the peace, and was strictly a home wedding. Wednesday night the Readsboro band, of which he
          is a member, and the Italian band consolidated and gave him a serenade, playing several pieces. Mr. and Mrs. Crosier came out and treated the boys and they quietly came away wishing Mr. and Mrs. Crosier much joy and happiness.
          Mrs Mary Crosier Former Resident Dies at Age of 98
          Mrs Mary E Robertson Crosier 98 of Colrain Mass a former resident of Readsboro for more than 80 years died early this morning at the home of her nephew Edward B Stowe and Mrs Stowe of Colrain with whom she had made her home for the past 10 years. Born in 1857 She fell ill two months ago but appeared to have been making a good recovery until nine days ago when she became seriously ill and failed rapidly She had a keen mind and spent much time writing letters and reading Mrs Crosier was born in May 28 1857 daughter of Edward W and Galetsa rier Robertson Her family moved to Readsboro village when Mrs Crosier was six years old and lived for many years jn the former M Ross home on Main She was first married to Weston Daniel Gore of Monroe Mass They had two children the late Mrs Edith and Daniel West on Gore Mr Gore died Jan 13 1892 and following year his widow was married Crosier Mr Crosier who ed a photographic studio here for many years died Oct 3 1929 Mrs Crosier also lived in den and Greenfield Mass for brief periods Held Lodge Offices While living here Mrs Crosier attended the First Baptist church and was a member of Aid society She was a past ma tron of Balance Rock chapter of the Eastern Star and past noble grand of Evening Star Rebekah lodge She also was a member of St James Episcopal church Greenfield On her 80th birthday in 1947 Mrs Crosier was honored by townspeople at a reception at the Baptist church Besides her nephew in Colrain Mrs Crosier leaves a stepson L Halsea Crosier of Greenfield three grandchildren Stanley Crosier of New York city Miss Dorys of Baltimore Md and Mrs Lena of bury and several children and children Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Baptist church Benjamin Sander of Greenfield er of St James church will Burial will be in the lage cemetery The body is at funeral parlor in Wilmington where friends may call at their con-

          Ronnie C. Chase, 70 of Brattleboro, VT passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital. He was born in York, ME on April 4, 1946; the son of the late Arthur Chase and Bernadine (Childs) Sanderson.
          Ronnie was educated in the Brattleboro school system, graduating from Brattleboro High School, Class of 1966. He was employed as a Burner Technician for Barrows & Fisher Oil in Brattleboro, until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, watching football and baseball, playing softball, vacationing in Maine, watching Westerns, including John Wayne and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
          He is survived by two sons, Ronnie C. Chase, Jr. and his partner Allie Britton of Keene, NH and Ryan L. Chase of Brattleboro; two daughters, Michelle Chase and her partner Mike Rouleau of Swanzey, NH and Joyce Chase and her partner Nathan of Brattleboro; a brother, Robert Chase of Brattleboro; a sister, Darlene Forbes of Brattleboro; thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild; as well as many niece, nephews and cousins.
          A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the American Legion, 32 Linden St, Brattleboro, VT. The KER-WESTERLUND FUNERAL HOME, Brattleboro, VT is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Windham County Humane Society, 916 W River Rd, Brattleboro, VT 05301.

          ADAMS -- Cynthia Ann Roulier Koscinski, 52, of 20 Enterprise St., died yesterday morning at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, where she was admitted five weeks ago.
          Born in North Adams on Dec. 27, 1947, daughter of Phyllis St. Cyr Roulier Richardson and the late Rene Roulier, she attended the former Notre Dame Elementary School in Adams and is a 1965 graduate of the former St. Joseph's High School in North Adams.
          Mrs. Koscinski worked for several years at the Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams.
          She was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame and St. Thomas, Adams. She was a member of the McCann High School Booster Club, a former member of the Adams Turners, and had been active as a den mother for Cub Scouts and Brownies for several years.
          She leaves her husband, Joseph P. Koscinski, whom she married on Jan. 25, 1970.
          Besides her husband she leaves her mother, Mrs. Phyllis Richardson of Ocala, Fla.; three sons, Joseph P. Koscinski of Richmond, Va., Trevor R. Koscinski of Spanish Fork, Utah, and Rene J. Koscinski of Adams; a sister, Mrs. Jacqueline Roulier Haddad of Adams; and two grandchildren.
          A daughter, Jennifer J. Koscinski, died Sept. 25, 1970 and a brother, Russell R. Roulier, died on June 21, 1967.
          FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral will be held on Saturday morning at 9:15 from AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 in Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams, celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Parish of Notre Dame and St. Thomas, Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. There are no calling hours. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Church in North Adams. Ed enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing and was an avid golfer. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and loved to participate in all the family activities.
          His wife, Shirley A. (Roy) LaFrance whom he married on May 29, 1954 died on May 29, 2008. Ed leaves his son, Edward LaFrance and his wife Maryann of North Adams, five daughters, Karen Sucharzewski and her husband David of Shelburne Falls, Terry Blair and her husband Jim of North Adams, Kimberly Hanlon and her husband Kyle of North Adams, Lisa Trombley and her husband Jeff of Adams, and Shelley Guyette and her husband Rick of North Adams. He leaves 15 grandchildren, Shannon Goodell, Gary LaFrance, Nichole LaFrance, Christopher LaFrance, Sara Kingsbury, Michael Sucharzewski, Krista Dupee, Jonathan Cardinal, Kelsey Sherman, Allison Hanlon, Matthew Trombley, Connor Guyette and Megan Guyette.           Mrs. Fred Stickles, 90, of 120 Imperial Ave., the former Daisy Rudd, who had been identified and active In this community for many years In a number of worthwhile projects, died early this morning at the Crescent Manor Nursing Home. The daughter of a well-known family In Bennington, where she had resided most of her life, she was the widow of FredStlckles, former president of the Henry M. Tuttle Co. The daughter of Merritt F.and Ella Jane Rudd, she was born Jan. 24, 1878 In the part of west Bennington known as Pleasant Valley. For a short time she had attended For a short time she had attended North Bennington High School. After teaching 10 terms In the Bennington rural schools, she then attended Castleton Normal School, graduating In June 1902. Returning to her home here, she had been a teacher for 27 years In the old Bennington Graded School, serving from 1902 to 1929. There are a number of local residents who had the good fortune to be under her tutelage and well remember the days In her classroom. She and Mr. Stickles were married Nov. 14, 1929 at the Little Church Around the Corner In New York City. During their marriage, she had served as vice president of the Tuttle Company. He died In 1948.

          MANCHESTER - Marguerite R. Bushee, widow of Clarence W, Bushee passed away on January 16, 2017 at Equinox Terrace. The daughter of Lynn and Leona (Crosier) Rudd, she was born in West Rupert on May 24, 1923.
          She grew up in Rupert where she attended local schools and was a graduate of Salem (NY) High School.
          Marguerite loved people and had so many special friends that also were there for her right to the end. She loved playing Bingo and going to many sports games to watch her great grandchildren play. She had worked for many years at MEMS school cafeteria where she enjoyed the children, she also worked as a caterer with Fredrika Hilliard for evening cocktail and dinner parties. She is survived by two daughters Patricia Slason of West Palm Beach, FL and Gloria Bierwirth and husband Bob of East Dorset, daughter in law Eva Bushee of Vernon, and a very close friend Catherine Perry of Manchester , six grandchildren that were very special to her ; Brian Lacoste and wife Deanne of Sunderland, Donna Denney of Lake Worth, FL, Doug Slason of Stuart, FL, Raymond Bushee and wife Misty of Walpole, NH, Renee Howard and husband Joel of Hinsdale, NH and Robert Bushee and wife Sheena of Winchester, NH, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
          She also leaves two sisters Marietta Wilson of West Rupert and Marion Perkins of New Mexico. She was predeceased by her husband Clarence on July 29, 2015, son Allen Bushee in 2004, two brothers Lyman and David Rudd and sister Lillian Stannard.
          Burial services for Marguerite and Clarence will be held at the Dellwood Cemetery at a later date.

          Born in Dalton on March 19, 1927, son of Earl B. Crosier Sr. and Maude Mather Crosier, he attended local schools.
          He served in the Navy for two years.
          Mr. Crosier was employed by General Electric Co. as a welder in the power transformer manufacturing division, retiring in 1987.
          He was a Shriner and a 32nd-degree Mason in the Scottish Rite, and a member of American Legion Post 155 and Unity Lodge AF & AM of Masons.
          He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
          His wife, the former Eleanor Louise Rudin, whom he married Aug. 28, 1948, died Dec. 22, 2000.
          He leaves two daughters, Valerie Gero of Dalton and Wendy Mottor of Hinsdale; two sons, David Crosier of Pittsfield and Todd Crosier of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Earl B. Crosier Jr. of Worthington; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Another grandchild is due in June.
          FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Bruce M. Crosier, who died Monday, April 30, 2007, will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at BARTLETT-WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Richard Hayes, hospice chaplin. Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery in Dalton. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by a Masonic memorial service.
          Among survivors are his grandchildren, Michelle Walsh, Michael Crosier, Dale and Wendy Gero, and Amy and Matthew Mottor; his great-grandchildren, Rachel and Katelyn Walsh; a daughter-in-law, Joanne Crosier; and two sons-in-law, Ed Gero and Wayne Mottor.
          Donations in his memory may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires or to the Dalton Ambulance Fund, in care of the funeral home, 525 Main St., Dalton, MA 01226. He enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his family.
