John (Jack) Alexander MORRISON March 2, 1937 ~ October 15, 2015 Jack passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife June, of 6 0 years, with their children by his side. Cherished and loving fathe r to Jim (Cindy), Mike (Sue), Wayne (Tina) and Linda (Peter). Loving b rother to sisters, Gladys, Arlene (Ronnie), Rhonda (Dave) and brother- in-law to Kathy, Marlene, Dorothy, Lew and Alvin. Pre-deceased by hi s parents, James and Kathleen and siblings, June, Jimmy, Bernie and Bl air. All because two people fell in love, Poppa will be dearly misse d by his grandchildren, Michael (Jill), Kelly (Darryl), Wendy, Alan (L oretta), Lindsay (Kevin), Dawn (Blair), Stephanie, Andrea, Ashley, Jul ie, Lisa and great grandchildren, Erik, Ruby, Hunter, Autumn, Chase, V ictoria, Adam, Noah, Lillian, Brenden, Easton, Colton, Ainsley, Eli an d Violet. Jack will be remembered by his extended family, Aunt Laura ( Henry) cousins, niece and nephews. Special adopted Grandpa to the Girl s at Timmies on Kipling. Thanks to the management and staf f at the Mandarin Queensway who hosted many family get togethers, defi nitely "HIS" favorite dining establishment. We would like to exten d a sincere thank you to Dr. Lahnsteiner and staff, doctors and staf f at Credit Valley Hospital, in-home care support from Vlad Bykov an d Dr. Swartz who all treated him with respect, dignity and a few laugh s along the way. A celebration of Jack' s life will be held at St. Margaret's Anglican Church (156 Sixth St. N ew Toronto) on Saturday, October 24 at 2 p.m., with reception to follo w.
