Notes taken from Genealogy of Ronald Gerard Culver- from Stephentown Heritage Center:
"Levi Culver - said he was born in Connecticut, in the 1855 census, but also said he was born in Massachusetts in the 1850 census; this researcher believes that the Conneticut birth is correct.
Levi and Lydia were living in the Lorenzo and Catherine Butts household, in 1860 (census of Nassau, NY), when Levi was 85 and Lydia was 79 years old. Levi said he was a laborer. In the Butts household here were also 3 Butts children.
Levi is buried in the Hillside Cemetary at West Stephentown, NY"
