          HEATH -- Russell E. Johnson, 86, of 48 Town Farm Road, formerly of Leominster, died Thursday, May 15, in Anchorage Nursing Home, Shelburne.
          Mr. Johnson was born in Leominster on July 20, 1916, the son of Ernest P. and Katherine (Russell) Johnson. He attended grammar school in Leominster and was a graduate of Leominster High School. He was a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston where he received a degree in electrical engineering.
          Prior to retirement in 1982, he was employed by New England Electric Co. in Westboro. Mr. Johnson was the director of distributions for several years before serving as consultant the last two years before retirement.
          He was an active member of the Heath Union Church serving as deacon, choir member as well as a former member of its Finance Committee.
          Mr. Johnson enjoyed hiking, fishing, hunting and flying. He enjoyed sailing and had built a sailboat as well as two outboard boats. At the age of 75, he obtained his pilot’s license.
          He leaves his wife, Ruth (Landstrom) Law Johnson, whom he married on Aug. 14, 1984; one son, Russell E. “Bud” Johnson Jr. and his wife Betty of Buckland; one daughter, Katherine D. Sprague and her husband Kevin of Rowe; three stepsons, Andrew O. Law and his wife Trish of Heath, Fred B. Law and his wife Heather of Navarre, Fla., Peter A. Law and his wife Gretchen of Deerfield; one stepdaughter, Robin H. Jenkins and her husband Tom of Heath; one sister, Mabel Ann Lester of Clearwater, Fla.; four grandchildren, Matthew R. Johnson of Taunton, Jennifer L. Heilman of Buckland, Brandon A. Sprague and Brittani M.E. Sprague, both of Rowe; eight step-grandchildren, Nathan, Robert, Dillon, Tyler, Aja, Alex, Alexis Law, Tucker Jenkins; and one great-granddaughter, Julie. His first wife, Marian (Pierce) Johnson, died in 1982. A step-grandson, Matthew Law, predeceased him in 1987.
          JOHNSON -- On May 15, Russell E. Johnson, 86, of Heath. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 20, at 2 p.m. in Heath Union Church. Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Rowe. Calling hours in the Smith-Kelleher Funeral Home, Shelburne Falls, are this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Donations may be made to the Johnson Organ Restoration Fund, Heath Union Church, Main Street, Heath, Mass.

          Sherman R. Crosier, 86, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2003, at his home.
          He retired from Belknap, Inc. after 42 years of service in sales, sales management and merchandise management. He managed the company's furniture and floor covering departments for many years and also served on the company's board of directors. He was an active member and elder of Beargrass Christian Church and its Round Robin Sunday School class. He was also a Kentucky Colonel, a 60-year member of the Abraham Masonic Lodge #8 F&AM and a member of the Hurstbourne Country Club, the Scottish Rite and the Kosair Shrine. He was an alumnus of Male High School and a US Army veteran of World War II, in which he served his country during 1941-1946 and obtained the rank of captain.
          He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean Crosier and two loving sons, Carl Crosier and his wife, Wanda of Mahomet, IL, and Rick Crosier and his wife, Ashley of Atlanta, GA. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Christy Hash and her husband, Travis and Kevin, Bryan, Sarah and Mary Boyd Crosier; sister-in-law, Marjorie Cook; three nephews, Garry, Larry and Jerry Cook; other relatives; and a large extended family of friends.
          "Sherman touched the lives of many through his kindness and humor, his dedication and his love and appreciation of life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him."

          Bobby Crosier, born October 23, 1970 in Willoughby, a lifelong Lake County resident, passed away October 2, 2017.
          Bobby was a graduate of Kirtland High School where he was the Captain of the Golf Team and proudly finished among the top six state high school golfers during his senior year. In addition, he excelled at most sports, including basketball and baseball, where he had perfected a very effective curveball. He was a fan of all Cleveland sports teams, enjoyed fishing with his brother, Bill, and loved the outdoors. Bobby was very fond of all animals, and had a special bond with his parent's cocker spaniel, Buffy.
          Bobby was a self-employed landscaper, specializing in lawn aeration.
          Survivors are his parents, William E. and Betty A. (Clappas) Crosier; sister, Cynthia L. (Michael) Stelbotsky and brother, William E. Crosier, Jr. He also leaves his nephews, Brian and Bradley Stelbotsky and Cole and Declan Leavitt; his uncle, Elmer (Jacquelyn) Crosier and cousin, Lee Anne (Ron) Wise and their son, Zachary Wise.
          He was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Crosier Leavitt in 2011. His grandparents, Wilson E. and Mary M. Crosier and Robert J. and Ann Clappas are also deceased.
          Private family services have been held.
          In his memory, a donation may be made to The Body of Christ Community Church, 38057 Erie Road, Willoughby, OH 44094.

          Pamela peacefully passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011.
          Born May 26, 1965, in Willoughby, she lived in Chicago and San Francisco before moving to Tucson five years ago.
          She was a member of the Association of Professional Flight Attendants. She loved animals, gardening and cooking and enjoyed spending time with her family. Pam loved life and people, and was always willing to help anyone in need.
          Pam was employed as a flight attendant with American Airlines for nearly 25 years.
          She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Darren of Tucson; sons, Cole William and Declan Monroe Leavitt of Tucson; parents, William E. Sr. and Betty A. (Clappas) Crosier of Waite Hill; sister, Cynthia (Michael) Stelbotsky of Erie, Pa. and brothers, William E. Crosier Jr. and Robert J. Crosier, both of Willoughby. She also leaves her nephews, Brian M. and Bradley M. Stelbotsky, her uncle, Elmer (Jacquelyn) Crosier; their daughter, Lee Anne (Ron) Wise and their son, Zachery; and Darren's nieces and nephews, as well as her in-laws, Dr. Lewis H. and Martha Bell Leavitt of Tucson, and many other extended family members.
          Her grandparents, Wilson E. and Mary M. Crosier and Robert and Anna Clappas, are deceased.
          Friends may call 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at the church. Pastor Michael J. Currier will officiate at the 7:30 p.m. service.
          In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to the Lake County Humane Society, 7564 Tyler Blvd., Unit E., Mentor, OH 44060.

          Born April 21, 1980 in Charleston, Jennifer was a 1998 graduate of Winfield High School and had been pursuing a nursing degree in Anchorage, Alaska, prior to her illness. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was an avid fan of the WVU Mountaineers.
          She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Phyllis Feldhaus.
          Surviving: father, Steve Crosier of Scott Depot; mother, Vicky Crosier of Anchorage; sister, Maria Crosier of Nitro; brother, Brandon Crosier of Scott Depot; grandparents, Delt and Reba Crosier of Charleston; several aunts, uncles and cousins; her faithful Jack Russell Terrier, Sable.
          A memorial service was held Saturday, December 18, 2004, at Hurricane Church of Christ with Minister Jeff Garrett officiating. Chapman Funeral Home, Teays Valley, was in charge of arrangements.
          The family suggests memorial donations be made to Hurricane Church of Christ, PO Box 177, Hurricane WV 25526.

Two grandsons; Jason (Lori) Robertson and Barry (Allison) Robertson. Two great-grandchildren; Genna and Austin Robertson. Two sisters; Nora Lee (James) Wickline and Frankie Jane (Don) Rice. Two brothers Leon and Donald Crosier. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Crosier will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall by Pastor Jerry Webb. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.           He is survived by his brother, Bob and Jane Crosier, Richfield; sister, Betty Ann Larsen, Monroe; nephews, John and Ryan Crosier and his dog Stormy.
          Highly educated, Dwight graduated from Stanford University. He spent years in real estate, during the summertime he worked for a number of national parks. While working for the parks he enjoyed his favorite pastimes, fly fishing and hiking.
          Per his wishes, no services will be held.
