          A. Blair, 79, Farm Worker
          Charles Andrew Blair, 79, a native and life-long resident of North Adams, died last evening at the North Adams Hospital, where he had been admitted in the afternoon from the Homestead Nursing Home at 215 E. Main St., where he had been a patient for sometime. Mr. Blair, who last had resided at 20 State St., was born here a son of the lale Charles and Mary (Eddy) Blair. He had worked for a number of years at the old Briggs Farm on South Church Street and later at Steele's Dairy in Williamstown. His last place oi employment, was at the old Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates plant in Greylock. His wife, the former Emma Plainer, died several years ago. He leaves three children, Mrs. Charles Busl and George Blair, both of North Adams, and Lionel Blair of Clarksburg; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five brothers, Ernest. Henry and John Blair of North Adams, Howard of Bell, Calif., and Andrew Blair ot Schodack, N.Y.; six sisters, Mrs. Walter Seegar of Clarksburg, Mrs. Alfred, Moreau, Mrs. Albert Plantier and Mrs. Bertram Billings of North Adams, Mrs. William Harvey of Argyle, N.Y., and Mrs. William Boucher of Hartford, N.Y.; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grandnephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2.30 p.m., at the San Soucie Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Paul C. Klose, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the family lot. in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday.

She was a kind and loving soul who loved her pet dogs, Tugs and Dora. She was born in North Adams, MA on August 18, 1951, daughter of James H. Blair Sr. and Eleanor (Roy) Blair. She graduated from the Drury High School. In her last days, she was lovingly taken care of by her brother, James Blair, sister Diane Myers and niece, Pamela Crosier She leaves behind her brother James Blair and his wife, Barbara (Shartrand) Blair and two sisters- Diane Myers and her husband, David and Donna Gifford and her husband, James. She also leaves behind two sons; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service for Darlene Roberts will be held on Wednesday May 25, 2016 at 9:00 AM at Southview Cemetery. There are no calling hours
