          Maria Ellen “Marie” Dargie, who died Thursday, was survived by three brothers, Albert Barbuto of Dalton, Robert Barbuto of Adams and Russell Barbuto of North Adams. Because of an editing error, their names were omitted from Mrs. Dargie’s obituary in yesterday’s Eagle.
          NORTH ADAMS -- Maria Ellen Dargie, 78, of 1095 Mohawk Trail died yesterday at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown, where she had resided for more than a month.
          Born in North Adams on Sept. 2, 1925, daughter of Anthony F. and Celina Perras Barbuto, she attended Drury High School.
          Mrs. Dargie was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. for many years. She began working with the company making gas masks and made her way up through the ranks. At the time of her retirement in 1990, she was corporate purchasing agent.
          She was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church and a painter, preferring oils and watercolor. She also enjoyed playing the organ.
          She leaves two sons, Francis L. Dargie Jr. of North Adams and Michael D. Dargie, with whom she made her home.
          FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Maria Ellen “Marie” Dargie will be Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 8:15 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Anthony’s Church celebrated by the Rev. Daniel J. O’Hear, pastor. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 5 to 7. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, wife of Francis Dargie, Svetlana Breykin Dargie; nieces and nephews, and her longtime companion, George Roy. She was predeceased by a brother, Anthony “Sonny” Barbuto, and two sisters, Thelma Kelley and Aurora Oliver. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.

          Priscilla B. Bingham 1918 -2012 HUNGTINGTON - Priscilla Barnes Bingham died on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at the age, of 94. Priscilla was a long time resident of Huntington having moved there in 1954. She was born in Quincy, Massachusetts on June 26, 1918. She was the daughter of the late Howard C. and Esther Giles Barnes of Ashfield, Massachusetts, and sister to the late Douglas Barnes. Priscilla was a graduate of the Westfield, New Jersey High School and was also a graduate of the Parson's School of Design of New York City. She spent many years in Westfield, New Jersey as an interior decorator. While there she also taught courses in interior design and drapery construction. Priscilla loved the creative arts, she was an award winning oil painter, she played the piano, hooked and braided rugs, gardened and sewed all her own draperies and slipcovers. She was Corresponding secretary of the Connecticut Valley Shell Club in Springfield for ten years. Pris was predeceased by her loving husband and travel partner of sixty years, Charles T. Bingham, who died in 1999. She is survived by her two loving daughters and their husbands, Diane Knowlton and her husband Ronald Knowlton, and Marilyn Cangro and her husband Dr. Joseph Cangro, both of Huntington. Also, six cherished grandchildren Tracey Jacey, of Noank, CT, Elizabeth Hurwitz of Wilbraham, MA, Charles Knowlton of Huntington, MA, Christopher Sarafin of Huntington, MA, Susan Hannah of West Brookfield, Mathieu Knowlton of Pittsfield, and ten great-grand children. Pris wants to give a special thanks to her grandson Christopher Sarafin for his loving care and companionship in her later years. There will be a private memorial service for the family at their chosen time. At a later date she will be buried in the Ashfield Plains Cemetery next to her parents and husband. There will be no calling hours and O'Brien Hilltown Community Funeral Home, Huntington, MA is in charge. Memorial contributions may be made to Westfield Homeless Cat Project, 1124 East Mountain Road in Westfield MA
