          ASKED TO BE COMMITTED.
Well-Known Syracuse Man. Comes to State Hospital for Treatment.
William H. H. Crosier, for many years a deputy sheriff of Onondaga county, and well-known in Syracuse, arrived in this city Friday carrying with him his own commitment to St.
Lawrence State hospital. The case is somewhat unusual. Mr. Crosier went to a Syracuse hospital last November for physical treatment. After his discharge his friends noted that he was in need of treatment such as he could get only at a State hospital. A few days ago he himself told his friends that he was going to a State hospital for treatment and went before two Syracuse doctors to be examined. He was examined by Drs. E. O. Kinne and W. L. Hartman, and County Judge W. M. Ross signed the order of commitment. Judge Ross had many times before sent Mr. Crosier with other unfortunates in need of treatment at State institutions. Mr. Crosier is a veteran of the Civil War and possesses a medal voted him by Congress for bravery.
