          Michael L. Crosier
          1970 - 2014 WILMINGTON, VT. Michael L. Crosier, 44, a resident of Lisle Hill Road, passed away Sept. 9, 2014 at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington. Michael was born in Brattleboro on May 23, 1970, the son of Larry and Vera Chase Crosier. He attended Halifax, Vermont Elementary school and graduated from Whitingham High School. Michael worked as an oil delivery driver for Guy E. Nido, Inc. for many years. Michael was not just an employee of Guy, he admired him and thought of him as a father. His fellow co-workers were like another family to him, especially Zetella Penson, whom he held dear to his heart. Michael spent most of his weekends playing paintball or RC car racing with his boys . He was a car enthusiast that could fix any mechanical issue and enjoyed drag racing with his best friend Randy Pike. His perfect smile always got a little bigger every time his daughter entered the room. Mike was part of the Valley Town Church. Mike is survived by his strong and beautiful wife, Joanne Maynard Crosier of Wilmington, whom he married July 1, 1995, his loving children, Kody Crosier and his fiance, Natalia Ceolho of Wardsboro, Alec Crosier and Addison Crosier of Wilmington, granddaughter, Marleigh Crosier of Wardsboro, his father, Larry Crosier of Halifax, brother, Paul Crosier and his wife, Michelle, their son, Eli of Wilmington and sisters, Laurie Spear and her husband, Stephen, and sons, Nicholas and Stephen of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Holly Oliveira and her husband, Rodney and children, Emilee and Ryan Truitt of Mobile, Ala., his in-laws, Robert and Sheila Covey of Wilmington, Robert and Jill Maynard and their adorable daughters, Kyrrah and Natalie of Wilmington, Scott and Allison Maynard of Wilmington and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Crosier, who passed away Nov. 1, 2010. Michael had so many friends in this community. Michael held a special group of friends especially close to his heart, Randy and Steph Pike, Stacey, Sue and Fletcher Fairbanks, Liz, Courtney and Bryanna Fernot, Lia Kingsley, Marie Finnegan and the Newcomb family. FUNERAL NOTICE: A celebration of the life of Michael L. Crosier will be held Saturday Sept. 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Memorial Hall in Wilmington.           Robert W. Pulaski, 83, of Newark Valley, passed away on June 27, 2016
          following a period of declining health. His loving wife, confidant, best
          friend and soul mate, Marion, who has always stood by his side, was
          indeed with him until he passed. In addition to Marion, Bob is survived
          by his children: Sharon Pulaski, Kathy Pulaski, and Richard Pulaski; his
          grandchildren: Brett, Dylan, Natalie, Nicholas; his sister Darlene (Joe)
          Jenny and several nieces, nephews. Also surviving is Marions extended
          family including her sister Judy Pierce who has been her guiding light
          during the course of Bobs illness. Bob was predeceased by his siblings:
          Barbara Roscoe, Loretta Nicholas and William Pulaski.
          Bob was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army. He retired
          from Singer-Link-Miles in Hilcrest. At an early age he acquired a love
          of the outdoors and has enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as
          landscaping ever since. Also, not one to sit idle, he enjoyed
          woodworking, a good Redsocks or Giants game, bus trips with Bill Flynn
          and most especially polka dancing around the floor with his beloved Marion.
          Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation and sharing of
          memories on Wednesday from 5-7 pm at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark
          Valley. A Funeral Service and Celebration of Bobs life will be held
          there at 11 oclock on Thursday. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery with
          full military honors accorded.
          For those wishing to honor Bob with a memorial donation, kindly consider
          the Kidney Foundation.

Crosier,of Mitteneague, 'Mass., were united In marriage this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the parsonage of the Mitteneague Congregational church by the Rev. Fred G. Morecombe. They were attended by Miss Camilla McClellan, sister of the bride, and and Cllffprd R. Bath, of Holyoke, Mass., a cousin of the bridegroom. After the ceremony a wedding luncheon was'served to the bridal party at the Highland hotel. Springfield. Mass.. following which Mr. and Mrs. Crosier left for a trip to Detroit. Upon their return they wil reside at 63 High street, Mitteneague.
          Mrs. Crosier Is a graduate of the Amsterdam High school, and attended Russell Sage college.

          MRS. CLAIRE LORRAINE SALLY (McKenna) FRANZINELLI, 87 of 513 Tunnel St. Readsboro, VT died Wednesday November 17, 2010 at her home.
          She was born in Leominster, MA on May 2, 1923, daughter of Edward and Aurella (Boudreau) McKenna. She attended Readsboro schools.
          Sally was primarily a homemaker and was a devoted wife and mother. She was a communicant of St. Joachims Church where she taught CCD for the First Communion class for 37 years. Sally enjoyed flower gardening, knitting, crocheting, and painting pastels. She was an excellent seamstress. She was a Boston Red Sox baseball fan.
          Her husband was Gennaro Franzinelli, who died on April 22, 1959. They were married on June 3, 1944.
          Survivors include two daughters, Jean Crosier of Nashua, NH and Elaine Schofield of Readsboro, VT; one son, James Franzinelli of Readsboro, with whom she lived; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one brother, William McKenna of Williamstown, MA and South Daytona, FL; nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Jackie, Raymond, and Edward McKenna are deceased.
          A private funeral for family and close friends will be held at St. Joachims Church. Burial will be in Village Cemetery in Readsboro. There are no calling hours.           1936 - 2013 NORTH ADAMS Roger A. LaFreniere, 77, of Superior, Ariz., beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz., after a long illness.
          Roger was born Feb. 8, 1936, in North Adams, the son of Joseph Charles and Florence (King) LaFreniere. He attended schools in North Adams.
          Roger and the former Jean McKeon were married at Holy Family Church on Nov. 30, 1957. Jean died March 3, 2005.
          After working in construction locally, Roger and Jean moved to Bisbee, Ariz., in 1959. He worked many years in the copper mines, including the storied Lavender Pit in Bisbee and later in the Magma Mine in Superior, where they lived together for over 40 years. He also worked driving mining-related trucks prior to retiring.
          Roger was an avid woodworker, whose intricate projects are treasured by the fortunate recipients. He was quick with a joke or story and would swiftly find humor and meaning, even in the most difficult of circumstances. A tough exterior camouflaged a tender heart with endless affection for family and friends.
          Roger is survived by two sons, Terry (Condra) of Kennewick, Wash., and Timothy (Debbie) of Weed, Calif.; five grandchildren, Rachel, Danielle, Nathan and Tedra LaFreniere, and Tiffany White; four great-grandchildren, Sienna, Anthony, Aurora and Cale; one brother, Deacon Greg (Linda) LaFreniere of Adams, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.
          He was predeceased by two brothers, Laurence and Charles.

A self-employed farmer, Hicks was part owner of Hicks Brothers Farm in Charlemont. Survivors, besides his wife of 54 years, the former Alice A. McKinnon, include his son, Paul R. Hicks, and his wife Tammy of Buckland; his daughter, Joanne MacLean, and her husband Robert; one brother, Walter of Charlemont; one sister, Helen Vight of Charlemont; three grandsons, Ryan Hicks and his wife, Jessica, Gary Hicks and his fiancee, Shannon Halabov, Charles McLean and his fiancee, Paula Wojieck; and great-grandson Tucker Hicks.           Bruno Chicoine, the well known candy manufacturer with a place of business on Norfolk Street, died Monday at a Boston hospital, after an illness of several months. He is survived by a wife, and two sons, Victor, associated with him in business, and Lawrence. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon, Services were conducted at his residence, 77 Prospect street, by Rev. E. E. Bachelder, of the Wood Memorial church, Burial was at Cambridge cemetery.
