Hebron - Joan M. "Bronie" Johnson, 79, of Hebron, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 19, 2009, at Glens Falls Hospital.
She was born Dec. 8, 1929, in Troy, the daughter of the late Thomas and Rita (Derosier) Keville.
Mrs. Johnson was a 1947 graduate of Catholic Central High School in Troy.
She worked for NYNEX Information Resources in East Greenbush for many years before retiring in 1995.
Mrs. Johnson attended St. Patrick's Church in Cambridge and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She loved to read and most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Walter W. Johnson; her six children: Mary Broderick and her husband, William, of Schaghticoke; Elaine Larson and her husband, Timothy, of Argyle; Nancy Crosier and her husband, Randy, of Hebron; William Johnson and his wife, Lisa, of Saratoga; Daniel Johnson and his companion, Cheryl, of Waterford; and James Johnson of Hebron. She is also survived by a sister, Elaine Cioffi, of San Diego, Calif., and by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by a brother, Thomas Keville.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at St. Patrick's Church, 17 South Park Street, Cambridge, where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Liam Condon. Interment will follow the service the East Hebron Cemetery in Hebron.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. at the McClellan Funeral Home, 19 East Broadway, Salem.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Johnson may be made to the Salem Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 360, Salem, NY 12865.

Salisbury, MD -- Richard Scott Rukat, 31, of Salisbury, Md., died Monday,
April 11, 2005, in the Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md.
Born in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Garry Richard Rukat and
Barbara (Crosier) Hurd.
Mr. Rukat was a 1991 graduate of Hudson Falls High School, a 1994 graduate of
Mohawk Valley Community College and a 1998 graduate of Buffalo State College.
He was proud to be the first Rukat within his family to graduate from college
with a bachelor's degree. He was an active member of the Boy Scouts of
America, earning Eagle Rank in 1991, and is a member of the National Eagle
Scout Association. He attended one world and two national jamborees. As an
adult leader he earned a district award of merit and attained the James E.
West Award. He was fortunate enough to pursue the most rewarding career as a
commissioned professional scout. He also was a member of Rotary International,
serving as a leader for their community service youth group in New York, and
as public relations committee chairman in Maryland. In addition, he has served
with the United Way as a board member.
He is survived by his wife, Jody Jean Rukat; two children, Meghan Jean Rukat
and Katharine Jean Rukat, both of Salisbury, Md.
Visitation will be Friday, April 15, 2005, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Holloway
Funeral Home in Salisbury, Md.
A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, April
18, 2005, and from 12 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at Carleton
Funeral Home, 68 Main St. in Hudson Falls.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at 1 p.m. at Carleton
Funeral Home, 68 Main St., Hudson Falls.
Interment will be in Brown Cemetery in West Fort Ann.

Salem-Jeanette M. Allen, 94, of Salem, passed away Monday evening, September 26, 2016 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington.
Born June 10, 1922 in West Hebron, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Edna (Crosier) Allen.
Jeanette was a 1939 graduate of Salem Washington Academy and was a bank clerk at the National Bank of Salem. Jeanette then worked for C.A. Baltz & Sons in Salem for 25 years until she retired in 1984. Following her retirement, Jeanette cared for many elderly members of the Salem community and also cleaned homes for families.
Jeanette was an active and oldest member of the Salem United Methodist Church.
Jeanette is survived by many close friends and her church family
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Monday, October 3, 2016 at the East Hebron Cemetery, Chamberlin Mills Road, Hebron with Rev. Debbie Earthrowl officiating. A reception will be held in the fellowship hall at the Salem United Methodist Church, 29 West Broadway, Salem following the service.

A private service will be held at The Neptune Society and his remains will be interned with his wife, Mabel Louise Thurrott at The North Burial Ground in Providence, RI.

Crozier Rodney Kimball 1910 ~ 2007 Crozier Rodney Kimball, age 96 of Provo, UT passed away on Sat., Jan. 13, 2007 at the Charleston Assisted Living Center in Cedar Hills, UT. He was born in St. David, Arizona on February 13, 1910 to Crozier and Mary Lenora Roberts Kimball. He graduated from Jordan High School in 1929. Rod served a two and one-half year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Germany. He married LeNeve Martin on Jan. 2, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were loving and devoted companions and worked side by side for over 60 years in raising their family and serving others. He was an active member of the Church and served in many capacities including Bishop, High Councilor, Patriarch, Temple worker, and with his wife served missions in Nauvoo, Illinois and Washington, DC. He received his bachelors and masters degrees from BYU and worked there as the athletic trainer for almost 40 years. His occupation was to care for athletes in treating and preventing injuries but his real interest and passion was in helping young men and others learn from and respond to life's lessons in a way that would bring growth and real happiness into their lives. In his professional and personal life he was truly a teacher, healer, minister and counselor and he was happiest when he was serving other people. He was a great father and enjoyed being with and surrounded by his family. His beloved wife LeNeve died on August 23, 1996. Rod married Florence Moulton Anderson for time in the St. George Temple on April 6, 1999. She was a loving, caring, and devoted companion. They took care of one another in the twilight years of their lives until Florence passed away on December 14, 2006. Both the Kimball and Anderson families were blessed through their association. The family thanks those who provided special care at the Seville in Orem, the Charleston at Cedar Hills and Comfort Care Hospice. He is survived by six sons and six daughters: Sylvia (Alan) Harmon, of Robertson, Wyoming; C. Rodney (Carol) Kimball, Jr., of Tempe, Arizona; Larry R. (Mary Lou) Kimball, of Payson; Lee M. (Karen) Kimball, of Highland; J. Randy (Carol) Kimball, of Layton; Sharyn (Allen) Hampton, of Ogden; Ruby (Joel) Zabriskie, of Highland; Joylene (Don) English, of Fairview Heights, Illinois; Stanley M. (Lucile) Kimball of Highland; Clea (Clifford) Mefford, of Meridian, Idaho; Bruce M. (Joyce) Kimball of Mansfield, Texas; LeNeve (Terry) Hatch, of Provo; 89 grandchildren; 186 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Reid (Barbara) Kimball of Oregon; and a sister-in-law, Hanna Ione Herzog. He was preceded in death by his spouses, his parents, two sons: David M. Kimball, V. Rex Kimball, and all other brothers and sisters and their spouses which are: Jane K. (Printess) Fitzgerald, Edwin R. (Althea) Kimball, Griffith R. (Marvetta) Kimball, Lenora K. (Charles) Madsen, Caroline K. (Golden) Berrett, C. Bernice K. (J. Vernon) Cook, Gwen K. (Norman) Johnson, and Vaughn R. Kimball; one daughter-in-law, Margaret Parcell Kimball; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Sat., January 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Provo Utah Grandview South Stake Center, 1122 N. Grand Avenue (1750 W.). Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2016, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
