Bail was fixed at $1,000 for each. She had been a lifelong resident of Chicopee MA and communicant of the Church of the Nativity BVM where she was active in numerous parish affairs. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Norman Menard, in 2003; by her son Kenneth Menard in 1983, and by her sisters Vivian Crosier and Anita Brunelle. She is survived by her son Dennis Menard and his wife Jacqueline of Tolland MA, and by her Grandchildren: Kristine Wynn and her sons Kenneth and Kyle of Creston IA; by Michelle Owens and her children Victoria and Daniel of Springwater NY; by Michael Menard and his daughter Asha of West Springfield MA; by Holly Mortell and her children Sean and Breana of Chicopee; and by April Menard of Tolland MA. Estelle had been a long time employee of the Bernashe and Brochu Insurance Agencies of Chicopee, and had been active in various community and parish affairs. She was the center of family gatherings, had always enjoyed gardening and summers at her camp in East Otis, and of late, sitting in the sunshine on her porches. She lived a long and peaceful life, and died as peacefully as she lived. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday morning from 8:30AM - 10:30AM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013. On December 20, 1952, she married Audrine Crosier and lived in Freeport. Audrine died July 18, 2004. Lucille was a graduate of Winterset H.S. in the class of 1933. She along with mother, moved to Tippecanoe. She attended the Assembly of God Church for several years and served as a Sunday school teacher. She was also the Crosier Lumber Company secretary at Freeport, Ohio for 25 years. Upon Retirement, they moved to New Philadelphia, Ohio. Her children and grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She cherished her many get-togethers with her family and friends. She enjoyed her many traveling trips. She took pride in her gardening and communicating to her family and friends with her computer. She attended church all her life and presently was attending Park Christian Church in Dennison, Ohio. Lucille was a blessing to all who knew her and we take comfort in knowing she is now "home."
