          REV. CLARENCE A. SNEDEKER
          Rev. Clarence A. Snedeker, 94, Union Dale, PA pass to his Eternal Reward Friday, April 9, 2004 at the home of his grandson, Rev. Donald D. and Linda Snedeker (stepdaughter). He was preceded in death by three wives, Lela Bartleson, Elizabeth Law and Jane E. Willson.
          Born October 13, 1909 at Poyntelle, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Minnie Brown Snedeker. He was a graduate of Preston High School, Lakewood. He had been a dairy farmer and lineman, by trade, working with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers #1249, Syracuse, NY.
          In the mid-1940’s he entered the ministry with the New York Conference of the Free Methodist Church. His first pastorates were Lake Como and Equinunk, PA. He also held credentials with the Church of the Nazarene. In the 1950’s he returned to farming in the Lacona-Sandy Creek, NY area and took care of his elderly parents while doing some pastoral work in Kassog, NY. He also continued working as a lineman until a major accident on the power lines forced him to sell the farm.
          In 1961, he returned to the ministry at the call of the Susquehanna Conference of the Free Methodist Church with Pastorates in St. Regis Falls and Brandon Center, NY. During that time he served as Platform Manager of the West Bangor (NY) Free Methodist Camp. In 1964, he opened the Bethel Holiness Chapel, Raymondville, NY. At this time he and his wife also operated the McCall Personal Care Home, Norfolk, NY.
          In 1966, he assisted Rev. Wayne Stiffler as a founder of the Altoona-Allegeny Wesleyan Methodist Church. In 1967, he relocated to Adirondack Bible College and in 1968, was an interim pastor of the Moira Evangelical Wesleyan Church. He later served as pastor at the Community Church in Tenantville, NY. In 1973, he opened the Independent Holiness Church of Gloversville, NY, and served there until 1977. In 1977, he served the Lake Idlewild Evangelical Wesleyan Church. His last full-time pastorate was Rome (NY) Evangelical Wesleyan Church.
          He had been ordained by the Bible Missionary Church, Inc. He was the oldest Ordained Elder in the Eastern Conference of the Evangelical Wesleyan Church and held his Evangelistic Credentials since 1994. He has held Evangelistic meetings in New York, Florida, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, North Carolina and Nebraska. In his later years, he was the Adult Sunday School Teacher at the Lake Idlewild Evangelical Wesleyan Church and Trustee of both the Mt. Zion Evangelical Wesleyan Church, East Stroudsburg and the Stateline Evangelical Wesleyan Church, Great Bend.
          He is survived by a daughter, Beverly Gregory, St. Cloud, FL; a son, Dale Snedeker, Whitney Point, NY; two additional stepdaughters, Virginia Beesmer, West Hurley, NY, Helen Junod, Mahaffey, PA; a stepson, Denis Willson, Derry, NH; a sister, Ethel Lawton, Northville, NY; 22 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews.
          He was preceded in death by a son, Robert C.; a brother, Raymond; a stepdaughter, Marjorie Gagne; a grandson, Timothy P. Fracassee.
          The funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, April 13 at the Stateline Evangelical Wesleyan Church, Great Bend, by his grandson, Rev. Donald D. Snedeker, Pastor; Bishop W. L. Sarber, Conference President; and Rev. Charles MacDonald, Evangelist. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford.
          Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund of the Stateline Evangelical Wesleyan Church; or Evangelical Wesleyan Home Mission Work of Moira, NY; both care of RR 1 Box 1444, Route 11, Great Bend, PA 18821.
          Arrangements were made by the Oliver R. Shifler Funeral Home, Carbondale.

Czarnecki Jr., both of North Adams; two brothers, Horace Greenlaw of North Adams and John Strack of Adams; three sisters, Nancy Bernier and Constance C. Lavigne, both of North Adams, and Rosemary Malloy of Cheshire, five grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
          She was predeceased by two sisters, Vina Ferris and Jean Morgan, and four brothers, Harry E. Greenlaw, Fred Greenlaw, Kenneth Sprague and Edwin Sprague.

Sprague, at home; two brothers, Michael Sprague of North Port, Fla., and Russell Sprague of Pittsfield; four sisters, Michelle Fowlkes and Melissa Sumner, both of Goldsboro, S.C., Lisa Cleveland of Pikeville, N.C., and Susan Busener of Pittsfield; his maternal grandmother, Marguerite Burdick of Dalton, and his girlfriend, Natalie Ciepiela, with whom he resided and her son, Bryce Ciepiela.
          FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Pittsfield Cemetery. Born in North Adams on January 16, 1940, the daughter of George and Anna McHugo St. Cyr, she was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in North Adams. Ms. St. Cyr had been employed as a Customer Service Representative for Verizon for twenty years and then as a receptionist at Haddad Motor Sales. She was a collector of kerosene lamps. She also enjoyed knitting, cake decorating, and bird watching. Ms. St. Cyr is survived by three daughters, Lynn Penna and her husband, Rick, of Pittsfield, Laurie Russell of Pittsfield, and Lee Torres of North Wales, Penn.; a brother, Jack St. Cyr and his wife, Jacqueline; seven grandchildren, Leighanne Penna, Sean Regan and his wife, Sarah, Anthony Torres, Andrew Torres, Jaime Weyers, Samantha Weyers Russell, and Anna Penna; a great granddaughter, Maddi Regan; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her beloved cats, Daphne and Spike. She was pre-deceased by her two sisters, Jane Consolini and Joan Lefebvre. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Anne Marie St. Cyr will be held Saturday, February 27, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Church celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Michael A.
