          NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Jean Frances Morgan, 69, of 4 Iroquois Drive died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at her home.
          Born in Townsend, Vt., on Oct. 19, 1940, daughter of Francis Strack and Viola Byron Greenlaw Strack Sprague, her father died when she was 5 and she was raised by her mother and stepfather, Edwin Sprague.
          Mrs. Morgan was last employed by CompCare.
          She and her husband, Ralph A. Morgan Sr., married on March 22, 1961.
          Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Cathy Superneau and Laurie Foskett, both of Adams; two sons, Ralph A. Morgan Jr. and Robert Morgan, both of North Adams; five sisters, Vina Ferris, Nancy O'Neil, Donna Czarnecki and Constance C. Lavigne, all of North Adams, and Rose Malloy of Cheshire; two brothers, John Strack of Adams and Horace Greenlaw of North Adams; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
          She was predeceased by her brothers Harry E. Greenlaw, Fred Greenlaw, Kenneth Sprague and Edwin Sprague.
          FUNERAL NOTICE - A graveside service for Mrs. Morgan will be held Tuesday, March 9, at 11 in Southview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, is in charge of arrangements.

          Alfred Mullett, Once Florida Town Assessor Alfred Duane Mullett, of Central Shaft Rd,, Florida, a onetime Florida town assessor, died at 6.55 this morning at the North Adams Hospital where he had been a patient the past month. A native of North Adams, Mr. Mullett was the son of the late William and Lena (Sherman) Mullett. He had worked for the town of Florida at one time but had retired 18 years ago. He had been ill at his home the past 18 years. During World War II he nerved in the State Guard. 'He leaves his wife, the former Nettie Burdick; five sons, Alfred D. Jr. of Stamford, Vt., Daniel of the Hoosac Tunnel section of Florida, William, who is serving with the U.S. Army in. Germany, Earl and Kenneth Mullett of Florida; three daughters, Mrs. Lena Hurlbut of North Adams, Mrs. Pearl Mowe of Hoosac Tunnel and Miss Nancy Mullett, at home; three brothers, Eugene of Florida, Raymond of Oakland, Calif., and William Mullett of Long Island, N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. Helen Wheeler of Florida; 16 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. ' Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday at the Florida Baptist Church with the Rev. Miss Frances Porter, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery, Florida. Calling hours at the Simmons Funeral Home will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Friday.

          John A. Murchie 1927-2011 WESTFIELD John A. Murchie, 83, died Monday at home in Westfield. Born in Ayer, he was a former resident of North Adams and resident of Westfield for many years. He was also known as "Sandy" and "Captain Johnny". John was a retired employee of Wico Electric. He also worked at the former Howard Johnson Motor Lodge in Westfield. He served in the U. S. Army in Germany during the Korean War and was a member of AMVETS. John studied science research for over 40 years and was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Westfield. He leaves two sisters Natalie Martelle of Ninety-Six, SC and Nancy A. Bissaillon and her husband "Duke" of Coeur D' Alene, ID. Also his caregiver Donna Grimsley and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Douglas and his sister Mary Grosier Gerry. FUNERAL NOTICE: John's funeral will be Saturday at 8:15 a.m. from the Robert E. Cusack Funeral Home, 94 Main St.-Rte 20, followed by a liturgy of Christian burial at 9:15 in St. Mary's Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, all in Westfield. Nancy was educated in the North Adams schools, Drury High School and Bliss Business College. Nancy, husband Duke and children moved to Westfield, Mass. in 1958 and later moved to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in 2005. Nancy retired from Noble Hospital in Westfield, Mass. She worked in the Pharmacy Department and the Nursing Office. Later she worked part time at American Inventors Corp. until it's closing and then worked per diem at College Highway Medical Center. Nancy was an avid golfer, a member of the Southwick Country Club and a past club champion. She was a past president of SCC Women's Association and past president of Noble Hospital Women's League. She leaves her husband of 61 years, a son Glenn Bissaillon and his wife, Barbara and a daughter, Bonnie Bissaillon Beaudry of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She also leaves three grandchildren; Kristen and husband, Jason, Kelly Beaudry, and Corey and wife, Christine. She leaves six great -grandchildren; Ghani and Geneva of Montana and Alexis Beaudry Lewis of Coeur d'Alene and Rooke, Vaughan and Ione of Coeur d'Alene. Also a sister, Natalie Martelle of S.C. and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Brenda Ann Bissaillon, two brothers, John and Douglas Murchie and a sister, Mary Murchie Crosier.           Born June 30, 1962, in Springfield, Kimberly was the daughter of William and Beverly (Crosier) Murray of Chicopee.
          She grew up in Holyoke and Chicopee and was educated in local schools, graduating from Chicopee Comp in 1980. She resided in Chesterfield for 26 years.
          Kimberly was a Developmental Specialist for Baroco in Hadley for 3 years. She served on the Chesterfield 250th Anniversary Committee. Kimberly loved her family and enjoyed trips to Foxwoods, camping, the beach, and swimming. She was proud of her Irish heritage and attended the Holyoke St. Patrick's Day Parade every year.
          Besides her parents William and Beverly, Kimberly is survived by her husband of 28 years, Wilburn G. "Junior" Dawson, Jr.; her two sons, Grant Dawson and his wife Danielle of Easthampton and Brandon Dawson of Chesterfield; her four daughters, Johanna Dawson and Niki Dawson, both of Chesterfield, Ashleigh Judd of Athol and Elizabeth Dawson of Springfield; her brother, William Murray of Granby; her sisters, Colleen Murray of Chicopee, Gail Dawson of South Hadley and Belinda Houldson of Springfield; several nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Katie Walsh of Enterprise, Al.
          She was predeceased by her brother, James Murray.
          Kimberly's funeral will be Saturday morning at 10 am. at the Ahearn Funeral Home, 783 Bridge Rd., Northampton. Burial will be private. Calling hours are Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Donations in Kimberly's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice .

          Thomas was born in Brockton and attended Brockton public schools. Thomas graduated from Brockton Nursing School and Emanuel College with a Bachelor in Science in Nursing. He worked for many years as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Thomas was also a retired Lt. Colonel serving in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1971 to 1998. Thomas also enjoyed photography, fishing, computers, yard work and camping.
          In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jason, Jeffrey, and Gregory Norcross of California and Chatham, Lydia, Bellamy and Sophie Norcross of Wareham. He is the brother of David Norcross Jr., of Wareham, Pamela Newcomb of Plymouth and Kathleen Nichols of Florida. He is the grandfather of Claire and Luke Norcross of Calif., and the son-in-law of Paul and Rebecca Tetrualt of Wareham. He was the brother of the late Linda Norcross, Florence Norcross and Alan Magnus.
          A committal service will be held on Friday November 14, at 11:15 a.m. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Bennington Blvd. Bourne. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend and to please gather at the cemetery at 11 a.m. To leave a message of condolence for the family please visit www.warehamvillagefuneralhome.com.
