Death of Mrs. Lucy Ann LeRay,
Mrs. Lucy Ann (Davis) LeRay died Filday evening in tho home of her sister,' Mrs. John A. Stafford, after a long Illness with tuberculosis. Lucy Ann Davis was born Nov. 15, 1815, In Readsboro and was one of six children of Jonathan and Lucy Ann (Carpenterr) Davis and her early life was spent In Wilmington. On Nov. 15, 1864, she was married to William LeRay who died in 1902 in Halifax where Mrs. LeRay and son, Richard W. LeRay, lived until three years ago. They then moved to West Dummerston, where she lived until her health failed and in April she came to the home of her sister. She bore her suffering with great patience and without complaint. Mrs. LeRay was of Revolutionary descent both her great-grandfathers being soldiers In the Revolutionary war. Besides her son she leaves two sisters, Mrs. J. A. Stafford of this place, and Mrs. George Howe of Athol, also one brother, Perry M. Davis of Wilmington., The funeral was held In the home of her sister Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Trout oficiating. .Mrs. Lenna Tenney sang, two selections. Tho burial was In Prospect Hill cemetery. The bearers were relatives, Harry LeRay, Judson Stafford, Charles Williams and Edward Goddard. Friends from out of town who attended the funeral were Mr. nnd Mrs. Perry M. Davis and Mrs, Ernest Harris of Wilmington, Mr. and Mrs. George Howe of Athol, Mrs. iVmella Davis and Perry Davis of Reads boro. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Goddard and Mrs, William Fuller of Halifax.
The above obit gives the wrong birth date - could 1815 be that of her mother -also lucy ?

It said that he was the Father of 25 children and at the age of 82 when he died he was survived by 13 of his children. It said he had 50 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

SCHUYLERVILLE -- Ralph D. Crosier, 83, of Schuylerville, N.Y., died peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at Albany Medical Center following a brief illness.
Ralph was born Aug. 26, 1927, in Salem, N.Y., the son of Ralph and Nelly (Conety) Crosier.
He attended Washington Academy in Salem, N.Y., leaving school prior to graduating to join the Navy during World War II.
On June 9, 1951, Ralph married Dorothy Day in Cambridge, N.Y. He and Dorothy lived in Troy, N.Y., for several years before moving to
their home in Cambridge, N.Y.
Ralph had been employed at Crown- Zellerbach as a supervisor of the customer service department before his retirement in 1985.
For the last 15 years, Ralph lived at Schuylerville Manor. During his residency at Schuylerville Manor, many of Ralph's friends became his adopted family. His love of miniature railroads will continue to resound on the walls of Schuylerville Manor.
Survivors include his brother, Ronald Crosier Sr., of Ellicott City, Md.; his nephews Ronald Crosier Jr. (Hillery) of Charlotte, N.C. and Jeff Crosier (Elaine) of Aliso Viejo, Ca; his niece, Julie Schmidt (Sam) of Ellicott City, Md. and several great-nieces.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Crosier, who died in 1987. In respect for Ralph's wishes, there will be no memorialservice and a private burial next to his beloved Dorothy at Woodlands Cemetery in Cambridge.

Crosier-Day
The marriage of Dorothy M. Day, daughter of Mrs. Nelson Cairns and the late Arthur H. Day, to Ralph Crosier, son of Mrs. Nellie Crosier of Salem, took place at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Cairns home on Grove street with the Rev. Seth N. Craig performing the double ring ceremony.
The bride wore a ballerina style, white lace over a blue taffeta gown white tulle veil falling from a wreath of valley lillies and carried white gladiola and orange blossums.
Mrs. Yvonne Frank of Schenectady was matron of honor for her cousin and Mr. Frank served as best man. Mrs. Frank wore a pink ballerina style organdy dress with pink cap, mitts and accessories and carried a colonial bouquet.
Mr. and Mrs. Crosier went to Canada on their wedding trip, and will reside in Troy. For travelling Mrs. Crosier wore a black and white print gown, white accessories and a large white hat.
About thirty relatives and friends attended the wedding and reception at the Cairns' home following the ceremony.

Obituary
DOROTHY DAY CROSIER
Dorothy Day Crosier, 62, died Thursday, January 29, at Glens Falls hospital following a long illness. Services were conducted Sunday at the Charles A. Ackley Funeral home, Cambridge. Spring interment will be at Woodlands cemetery, Cambridge.
Born May 26, 1924. in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Laura Richards Day.
Survivors are: her husband, Ralph D. Crosier of Cambridge and one cousin, Yvonne Frank of Schenectady.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Cambridge Valley Rescue, squad.

Step father of Nicholas Bullins and his wife Tricia of Danvers, MA and Audrey Rose and her husband Joe of Loudon, NH Grandfather of many. Also survived by extended family members and friends.
